-Lighting Project-
Music has a way of reaching a multitude of people. Regardless of a person’s background, upbringing or personality, music is sometimes the only common denominator to bring individuals together. It can influence decisions and evoke a host of emotions [whether it being positive or negative]. In the same sense, lighting can influence how someone responds to a space. With my light, I would like to look at forms produced by sound waves and the opportunities that come with this when lighting up a space. I envision this light acting as a center piece for a Modern home. I intend this fixture to be wall mounted to maximize the potential for light to bounce off of the walls surface and my target price point would be 125-200 dollars.
In the same way that music gives the listener the freedom to interpret a song the way they choose, I want a sense of freedom to be evident through this light fixture as well.
