RECALL is a furniture piece and associated application, connecting digital memories to physical objects. It has been designed to use an interface that works with personal belongings and an inbuilt NFC reader, which prompts the display of the digital files associated with said object.
The application allows the user to connect their different social media accounts, as well as their profiles on accounts such as iCloud, Flickr, Google photos etc. and group them together into different events and memories. These can then be attached to an object, which when placed on the reader will automatically display the stored information.
Due to varying styles people have within their homes, the RECALL has been designed to have a modern yet simple look, so it will fit within any home, whether it’s modern and minimalist or traditional and vintage, the RECALL won’t look out of place, and will become a focal point within your family home.
