EICHLER LANDSCAPE DESIGN
The landscape design for this Eichler house is inspired by design elements from the Eichler era with clean contemporary forms and materials such as concrete, gravel, raw weathered steel, and meadow grasses. For this design I help create several conceptual designs for garden art. One of the art pieces was inspired by the natural patterns found in Andy Goldsworthy’s collections. For this piece I tossed a bundle of sticks (pencils) in the air and the pattern they created on the ground would resemble the steel arrangement of the art piece.
