ACOUSKIN

This wearable pin-like device converts sound to vibration and allows its user to “feel” sound. Each unit is relatively inexpensive to produce and combining several units together permits the wearer to not only feel the intensity of a sound and its pattern, but also determine the direction of its origin.

Materials: Arduino, Lily Pad, plastic, fabric, assorted electronics
