In this project I designed an exhibit piece and wow wall entry for an exhibition themed on the work of Antoni Gaudi, his natural influences, and the timeless inspiration that reverberates into the modern world. This project included elements of interior design, graphic design, model making and construction. The life-sized panel display unit is designed to be used from one show to another. It started off as blue but was refined to a warm sandstone colour which allowed the content to shine. Featuring a magnetic side panel for easy access to the display pieces and two interior l.e.d. lights, the display box creates an intimate learning experience for viewers who hearken to its soft glow. The content of the panels explains the progressions in Gaudi's style and their connection to the natural world.
