University Project - Furniture Design
I designed a shoe rack. I wanted my design to have a second purpose, therefore i gave it substantial height so it could be used as a partition wall.
Since the joinery piece is for new arrivals I wanted to keep the structure simple in order to highlight the shoes. But in order to keep the display interesting, I have suspended the boxes at different heights by metal chains. When viewed from the front, the shoes appear as if they are sitting inside frames.
