The 3d mouse of the future should be cool, simple and magic. It will be pleasant to the user as a smart extension of his/her fingers.
The 3d mouse (picture 1) I propose is a concept intended for the near future.
The wire is flat so that it blends nicely on the desk. A soft white insert underneath the azure base (right view, picture 3) keeps the product stable while navigating it.
The main interface is located at the center of the circular soft case that encases 7 touch sensors in the upper half of the circle. From my personal experience and comments given by colleagues, I understood that the most used buttons are just a few ones and they are all personally configured through the mouse interface’s software. I opted for colored dots that indicates the buttons’ areas which glows when touched (picture 2)
