Guaranty Building Interpretive Center
The Guaranty Building, designed in 1895, by Dankmar Adler and Louis Sullivan in Buffalo New York, is on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s considered by many to be one of the finest early examples of the American Skyscraper - one of the first uniquely American styles of architecture. This exhibit was developed with the Hodgson Russ Attorneys, the building owner and the preservation architects Flynn-Battaglia Architects. The exhibit highlights the design and construction of the building and its significance within the history of architecture. This exhibit posed challenges on how to present sophisticated architectural concepts in a way that remains relevant to the average visitor.
