Satcon manufactures power invertors – devices which convert Direct Current (DC) power, generated by wind and solar farms, into Alternating Current (AC) for use on our electric grid. The two opposing curved shapes connected by rectangular frames alludes to movement and transformation. The booth was designed for Europe and the US. In Europe, it was a “build-and-burn” booth constructed by a partner in Poland. In stark contrast, the US structure was made of fabric, my original intent.
