Here is gameplay from the game!
A more detailed look at Bill's crib (starting point). :)
The main menu was fun while making it, I spent a few days brainstorming before settling for this option that fits with the game's comic tone. (You use the right hand to select which option) ;D
An example of the pause menu, making the borders similar to Bill's body type.
Here you can see the HUD as well as a mini-boss fight. On the left hand side you can see how many lives you have, in the center the timer and to the right how many points you have earned. (Heh since you're on the moon, might as well import containers of Oxygen, hah!)
This is the first level in the game, on the elevator we made it into a loop and you can only pass after you defeat a boss that appears! :)

Bill the Bot

Bill the Bot is a 2D side-scroller our group made for the semestre. It's loosely based on Philip K. Dick's story Second variety and written by all of us.
Bill is a robot that must shoot his way out while gaining new weapons and parts by attaching human parts to himself!
For this project I worked on the User Interface, HUD, scenery, background, objects in pixel art and helped here and there in the level design.

It was my first time dabbling in pixel art and it was pretty fun experience!
