TWO-GENERATION HOUSE

YEAR: 2012
SEMESTER: II
TUTOR: Ph.D. Jerzy Wojewódka

The abamurus, that is a main feature on this plot, has become my inspiration. For the best use, I have divided the building into two. Inbetween, an intimate and safe space was created.

This building is designed for a family “2+2+2” therefore two parts of one building. the first one is destined to be occupied by grandparents. They have a 49m2 flat that covers all their needs. downstairs there is a spacious music room with piano and a few seats.

The other part of the house is designed for a family with two children. Their rooms are situated on the first floor. downstars there is kitchen and a spatious living room. In the common space there is a pool that takes water from a nearby river. Both parts of the house are joined by a bridge that acts as a constructional element however they stay independent.
