The Heroes

This series of paintings is simply called "Heroes", and they are oil paintings of people just like you and me. These heroes are not celebrities, sports figures, or glamour divas. These are people that rise above everyday contention to shine. These works measure from six foot square to 24" x 30". More than anything else, these peole looked INSIDE. They faced the demons, and improved their lives because they were willing to recognize the divinity in themselves. Hence, they are Heroes. I have decided to revisit this series, and am producing twenty more images. I am then dedicating the show to raising awareness about addiction in our culture, in an effort to reduce the deadly stigma attached to that word.
