In the spring of 2011 Signal was selected by world-class ID firm Ziba to collaborate on a project for the Oregon Manifest bicycle show.The challenge was to create the ultimate city bike. Over the next 8 months we worked intensively with several designers at Ziba and learned some of their work processes. The entire project was journaled and posted on Core77. The bike, named the Fremont, was built and ridden in the 60 mile field test. It has been featured in many magazines including the New York Times weekend edition.
