The main objective of this project is to provide facilities for an apprenticeship set up to ensure the boat building knowledge and skill of the local traditional boat building expert be transferred and further enhanced for the next generation.
• To be attached to the existing boat building workshop in Pulau Duyong
• To provide academic Instruction and hands-on workshops
• To focus on timber technology and art in boat building
• To attract Industry as well visitors and tourist
• To be centre of excellent of Terengganu boat building industry and to ensure the continuity.
