Tripot coffee table - This coffee table is based on three legged, triangular arch forms. The table top is tempered glass providing a nice combination of solidity and lightness in glass itself. This time I utilized modern technology laser cutting, ceramic pots and tempered glass as a structural element. The asymmetrical and triangular structure of the piece creates interesting interlocking patterns.
Chair Mirek - This dinning chair creates an unusual and original shape by developing two symmetrical halves, connected in two places with a medium other than timber A challenge to confuse the sculptural and utilitarian nature of the chair.
Steam bend coffee table - Coffee table constructed to find the physical limits of its materials. The main construction feature is the tension, as the middle of the coffee table is not touching the ground. The glass top is a donut shape just wide enough to hold a mug of coffee or similar sized item. The second level of glass works as a shelf .
Queen size bed - This bed was designed with the focus on ergonomics and comfort. My aim was to design a bed of unique shape with attached side tables, to maximize the comfort of using the bed and to use local timber and unusual reconstituted veneers. I like to design pieces which can be seen from all angles, so attention was paid to all details on angles of the bed. In construction, a torsion box technique was used to build the bed-head, while the rest of the bed was constructed using solid timber.
