NEMO : Electric Three Wheeler for Urban Commuting - To design an electric power assisted three wheeler as a light weight and easy to use vehicle for the use in the urban areas of India.
Essential parameters like the seating capacity, speed and range requirements, electric , electronic and mechanical components have been decided after analysis.
To finalize the optimum system configuration, some prototypes were built ranging from CAD models, form models to full scale working prototypes.
After designing the chassis with packaging specification, concepts of superstructure were developed and tested. Fianl finished model was developed after styling.
Hand blender for Indian kitchen -
Home Appliances being the chosen field, the concept proposed was a modern hand blender for Indian kitchen. Having done the market segmentation, user research, technical study and material exploration, concepts were developed to design a product with minimal features and softness of form. The target user segment is Indian women.
The assembly of the product was worked out and simplified for manufacturing as the use of snap fit. The food grade materials used are ABS, Acrylic and stainless steel.
