Civil Rights Museum Experience Upgrade

The Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum has been named Georgia's Civil Rights Museum. However, lack of funding and active board members over the last decade has left the museum outdated and struggling to engage visitors with the story of what life was like during the civil rights struggle in Savannah, GA. Bring an out-dated Civil Rights museum into the 21st centry to better meet their mission of informing, educating, and delighting guests interested in the history of the civil rights movement. Over the course of 10 weeks, Project GROW worked with the Museum to analyze stakeholders and research local demographics to re-design the museum visitor experience. This called for several visits to gather information, map systems, and gain insights.
