Taking inspiration from Basketry and its property of interlacing , I created this paper concept to add dimension to a flat woven surface.
The paper concept was then translated into a woven sample. This was an experimental concept and hence, more innovative than practical.

Automotive Textile
For a design project with General Motors, we had to create designs for automotive textiles taking inspiration from traditional Indian textiles. Our group took Basketry and Sujuni textiles of Bihar as the inspiration and came up with paper concepts which were eventually transformed into woven samples.
