This surface was created using quiliting technique. The puffed areas resemble the surface of corn and the different densities of stitch lines give different tones of yellow, representing the various colour tones in a corn cob.
Another surface using quilting and embroidery.
The translucency of corn leaves is the concept for this surface, where cloth strips of a few colours overlap in various permutations and combinations to produce tonalities of green and yellow when seen against light.
Similar to the previous surface, this surface is made up of finer cloth to give a subtle effect.
This surface is created by inserting a padded cylinder of cloth through a metallic frame.
The following set of surfaces were created using felt which was heat set using wooden blocks of various shapes.
