Objective:
To design a logo for Naad–Nartan, an NGO dedicated to preserving Indian classical music and dance. The brand identity serves to safeguard India’s "intangible heritage" against Western cultural invasion by making traditional arts accessible to the modern masses.
Design Concept:
The logo captures the essence of Naad (sound) and Nartan (dance). I used fluid, rhythmic lines to symbolize the vibration of music and the grace of movement. The aesthetic bridges the gap between ancient tradition and contemporary advocacy, reflecting the NGO's mission to engage the public through live events and documentary films.
Outcome:
The final design provides a professional, culturally resonant identity. It strengthens the organization’s presence across all channels—from social media to cinema screenings—ensuring that the rich legacy of Indian art remains vibrant and recognizable for future generations.
