Typography: Calendar - This typographic calendar is based on a set of Sanskrit slokas/stotras or chants- The NAVAGRAHA STOTRA. The calendars based on this concept, utilizes the basic grid of the ‘Navagraha’. The slokas will be in the ‘Devanagari’ script along with their corresponding meaning in English. Each calendar page will be an explanation for each of the slokas and the title page will be a brief explanation of the concept.
Exhibit Design- Fly Bats: Children’s Museum Exhibit - The exhibit is designed for visitors to understand the body structure and the aerodynamics of the ‘bats’. The exhibit structure is inspired form the shape of the bat- wings while the colors and transparent materials are used to attract visitor interaction and participation.
Exhibit Design- Eat Bats: Children’s Museum Exhibit - The exhibit is designed for visitors to learn about how bats help the ecosystem by the amount of insects and pests they eat- that is a large number and balances the ford chain. The exhibit structure is inspired form the shape of the ‘bat’ while the colors and transparent materials are used to attract visitor interaction and participation.
Information Design- Five Levels of Designer Interaction - The diagram was created for the information on "five levels of designer interaction". This textual content is converted into quick and clear information design. The information addressed in this diagram explains the complicated interaction levels and roles of designer in different corporation/company environment and the resultant output that is the product.
Interior Design- Modular Interiors - Modular modules were designed for varying uses and environment. A cube was the inspiration for the modules created. This exercise was created in an attempt to enhance the creative output of graphic designers (with a strong sense of two-dimensional design) to create multiple three dimensional cube module.

Prototypes of these modules were then built and arranged in the same space, to accommodate different interior settings, which helped test and showcase the validity of the design.
Packaging Design - This is the packaging for a complementary wine ad wine set for an exclusive Vincent Van Gogh inspired exhibition. This packaging is the second step to self interpretive illustration trying to capture the Van Gogh painting technique.
Packaging Design - The packaging is for exotic gourmet bread company- 'kumquat breads'. Being a high-end gourmet product using natural ingredients the packaging focuses on using rustic natural materials like cloth and basket. The packaging allows for a convenient storage and comes in single pack or in the form of a breadbasket.
Typography- Stamps - This series of stamps are created using only type. The theme for the stamps is musical instruments. Each of the musical instruments seen in the stamps is made of type this also includes the strings or the outline used.
Poster Design: Pre-marriage Council - The posters are for a Pre-marriage Council, that deal with anxiety issues of would-be brides and grooms. The posters are entirely made using type only. The posters can be used individually or as a group.
Symbol Design: Carpenter - The symbols are created to explore and understand the different aspects of symbol design and the design principles. The objective was to design creative symbols that stand up to size-reduction.

Product Design: Sign-a-Long Children's Game - Sign-a-Long is targeted towards preschool children with autism spectrum disorders through activities that include singing, dancing, play activities and incorporates an animal avatar as an on-screen friend and a human facilitator to teach sign language. The product is designed as simple control panel for kid friendly interaction. It uses touch detecting tactile mats, video capturing and green-screen technology to see themselves on their television screens with the game backdrop and characters.
Information Design: Self-esteem Diagram - With extensive research this information design graphic was developed to showcase the associations of self-esteem with various variables in adolescents and also how they associate with one another. This would help associate the variables that affect ones personal self-esteem and how they interact with one other.

Wayfinding: Reiman Gardens, Ames, IA - The Orientation Sign and Minor Identification Sign for Reiman Gardens are ADA compliant. The color and the form of the armatures are inspired from 'grass'. The color on information planks creates a good contrast to the text as well as the backdrop of the garden.
Wayfinding: Reiman Gardens, Ames, IA - The outdoor signage for Reiman Gardens are ADA compliant. The color and the form of the armatures are inspired from 'grass'. The color on information planks creates a good contrast to the text as well as the backdrop of the garden.

They continue the theme and are coherent with the outdoor signage. The color on the information planks contrast well with the type and the interior colors.
Storyboard: Symbol Design - This is a symbolic representation of an Indian folk tale. Each character, background and frame is created to show continuity without any extra elements and maintaining consistency with the symbols. Since this is a study of semiotics, expressions for the characters were omitted and only graphic representation of lips were given to character of gods.
