Dean & DeLuca Private Label Products - Dean & DeLuca is known in New York City as one of the top gourmet food destinations, with a reputation of carrying the most exclusive and highest quality products on the market. As the sole designer in the company, I had the opportunity to design all the packaging for the current private label products which included a line of marinades, sauces, mustards, salts, origin chocolates, tote bags and the boxed gift card set.
Calvin Klein 365 - Calvin Klein, the category leader in underwear, wanted to create a new line targeting young men ages 18-24 yrs old. The packaging, photography and name '365' are marketing a younger Calvin customer looking for basic, everyday wear. Since being introduced to stores in Fall 05, Calvin Klein 365 has been extremely successful and has boosted CK's underwear sales.
Choice Calvin Klein Trim - Choice was originally introduced as Calvin Klein's line of tween girls clothing and underwear. After revamping the brand to target older teens, the trim/hangtags needed to reflect the new branding. A study of concepts were produced, including the idea of a wristband hangtag that could be worn. The final trim chosen and produced emphasized the dark denim and eyelets used in that season's clothing.
Calvin Klein Youth - After the success of Calvin Klein 365, CK wanted to expand their market to include a line of children's underwear. Concepts were produced to reflect a fun, interactive package that was appealing to both children and parents alike. Bright colors, playful imagery, large letters and simple illustrations on the packaging mimic a modular building block set.
Dean & DeLuca Website Redesign - With online shopping becoming so popular, Dean & DeLuca knew they needed a greater web presence than the basic, poorly designed website they had maintained for years. I was asked to design a new look for the homepage, concurrent functional pages (ie. Shopping Cart, Registration, My Account, etc.) and email blasts.
Form: Architectural Magazine - A magazine focusing on architecture in the L.A. Area. Since architecture's foundation is based on a strong grided structure, I felt Form's layout should reflect that as well. By using angular elements such as thin lines and boxes, I was able to emphasize the structured grid of the magazine.
Haute Couture Fashion Show Posters - A series of three posters for the Haute Couture Fashion Show in Paris. By combining dressform images, vintage fashion illustrations and handwritten type, a balance is created that ties all the elements together to make visually compelling posters.
PBTeen.com EDM & Screensaver Designs - I was able to design a few EDM’s (Email Direct Marketing/Email Blasts) and a screensaver for PBTeen.com, an affiliate of Pottery Barn.
