Writer's Garage - Post/News Index Zig Zag Grid Orientation
Writer's Garage - "Buy an Illustration/Choose your Artist" Page
Writer's Garage - Main Page - The last two "headers" were supposed to be intercalated, but the client didn't provide any content. The idea was to show all the options that are available on the top menu, graphically on the main page.
Writer's Garage - Custom Cover Design - This was also challenging, because the client didn't have any content to provide. The idea was to have a section to those who didn't like any of the available artists/covers, but wanted to make a custom request for the company. The main challenge was to put a "Add to Cart" button, because even though it kind of "forces" the users to click, it's not functional in a User Workflow. This is the final layout delivered to the client

Writers Garage - UX Consultancy / UI Development

This client approached me trying to understand why his business wasn't making any money even though he had a good idea, and a pretty unique local business, since he was from Ireland.

His business is a self publishing digital agency, you upload your PDF/Epub file, choose your pack and print it.

First thing was: it was never clear what the business was about. Second: He was using some kind of broken and generic Wordpress theme. Third, the content was not ready.

What I tried to do here was to visually simplify all the process and business explanation for the regular user.

There's a "how to section" that I used as a first option in the menu too.

One of the main challenges was to find a simple solution for a section called Illustration, where, instead of choosing by a "theme" , accordingly to the novel, the client wanted to show the visitor, the cover arts accodingly to the the artist, like a shop
