Steam Iron Design - Form evaluation project
The form of this steam iron is inspired by the sleek and dynamic flow lines of a yacht, giving it a modern and fluid aesthetic. An ergonomic handle is incorporated to ensure a comfortable grip and ease of use, while rubber lining at the back provides additional stability and grip.
The iron is equipped with a motion sensor that detects whether it is in use. It automatically cuts off power if the iron accidentally falls from a vertical position to a horizontal position on a surface. Additionally, the system turns off the power when the iron remains idle for a certain period without movement, enhancing safety and energy efficiency.
