TypeSoul is a creative lettering series with each alphabet treated uniquely. It is a play on emotions ranging from delicate beauty to the fear of hell. TypeSoul captures a soul in a character going beyond being just a type ‘face’.
Rajesh uses a traditional-modern approach by starting the process with hand drawn samples and then recreating them on Adobe Illustrator. The complete series came to life with 4 months of labor of love. Designing alphabets to represent an emotion is complex,
as one needs to understand the shape of the letter and treat it as an object while also retaining readability.
