Small apartment with loft
This project was a school exercise at AccademiadelLusso.
All students got the plan of a small imaginary apartment with the option to build a loft. We were not allowed to move nor the walls, nor the doors, nor the windows. We had to work with them as a given fact.
The area of the flat is 34m2 with 2.6m high walls.
To enlarge the space, I decided to double the area with building a loft that is almost as big as the first floor. I designed the stairs twisted and vertical so it takes the smallest part possible from the living room. On the first floor I added a 11.4m2 balcony.
As for the style, I chose rustic with white and gold color dominance on the first floor and brown on the loft.
