The Jerudong International School (JIS) 6th FORM is one of the first Green Building in Brunei Darussalam, the design takes form blending from the contextuality of the existing school blocks, as it goes deep inside to the innercourt, it welcomes visitors with a striking design feature, the library and lecture theatre which is designed as a bold statement for a modern architecture, large glass units guarantee transparancy and openness, they allow light to flood into the rooms and create a connection between nature and the interiors. KAOHSIUNG MARITIME CULTURAL & POPULAR MUSIC CENTRE - KAOHSIUNG -TAIWAN The Goal of the project is to create a Marine Culture and Pop Music Centre that highlights the unique character of Kaohsiung City while satisfying the needs of local people, the industries and future trends, this is to be achieved by basing its design and planning on the cultural assets of Kaohsiung, the strengths and conditions of the Project site and the characteristics of the pop music and marine culture industries. The pop Music component of the project, to be equipped world class hardware, will help foster music professionals in Southern Taiwan, Provide a leaven for pop music and its related industries and create a Southern Taiwan Incubator for Pop Music.
HEADQUARTERS BUILDING FOR MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS & TRADE (MOFAT) - BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - BRUNEI DARUSSALAM The Proposed MOFAT building aims to raise environmental awareness by incorporationg the environment with a constructed living machine, The synergy of its urban activities and resources recovery process is intertwined and negotiated to intensify its exposure to the public. 21st century buildings should always be ecologically sound, the MOFAT complex aims to endorse such ideals, The use of proposed roof gardens, Atrium Void will allow a filter of natural light to permeate the entire complex. The open nature of breezeway through all level will form breathing spaces within the building, it cannot be a national emblem of the future unless it showcases the very essence of energy saving technology
MARITIME SCHOOL - MUARA NAVAL BASE - MUARA - BRUNEI DARUSSALAM The new Maritime School is designed in a loose arrangements of three blocks, which consist of one main building, and two engineering block The question of how to integrate the maritime school buildings is adecisive factor of the design, to enhance the extraordinary quality of the school, our building design displays a distinct form with a clear profile towards open spaces and the existing running track & doccer field. in doing so, however, the school does not become cramped / crowded, but rather, flows into the buiilding, continuing inside as the semi transparent school plaza.
Each floor is well Connected using analogue to a fluid flow enables the highest level of internal communication between departments, this fluid circulation face together the building mass forming a unique and highly communicative building which express the special creative atmosphere in the maritime school. Furthermore the building opens outward at these points offering external views of the surrounding landscape and the beauty of the vast ocean view.
