Investment Zone is a participatory art work and reality game As part of this project, ten citizens in Gelsenkirchen (Germany) and ten citizens in Bangalore (India) are invited to make use of a plot of abandoned land and transform it over the course of six months. Participants come together every two weeks to deliberate, discuss and invest in the development of the plot. I am one of the 10 artists chosen from Bangalore, and this is one of my moves called Home Is Where The Heart Is.
Concept Note - ‘Home is where the heart is’ contemplates the notion of home. What is home? Is it fluid or constant? Is it a particular feeling of comfort and familiarity? Can one have many homes? Can home be anywhere as long as the heart is solid?This piece/move also acts as a symbolic gesture of recognising in Bangalore the feeling of home.

Mural commissioned by Mdhil, a health internet startup based in Bangalore. This mural is on the terrace of their studio, and was designed to create a colourful and distinct visual that captures the culture and vibe of the space. Completed June 2013. Location : Richmond Town, Bangalore.

Urban Avantgarde - LADIES - Third wall painted as part of the Urban Avantgarde project. This piece is Inspired by the commonly found LADIES sign inside buses, and the happy co-incidence of finding myself in possession of one of the screens used to leave this imprint. By taking the signage outside the confines of the bus and onto the walls of the big, bustling bus stand, the hope was to get a conversation going.
