Drop, Bump and Stop

The brief outlined a directive for a transportation device between one desk and another that was three feet away. After a few mockup ideas, it was decided that a zip line was the simplest and most elegant solution. The design is compact and made to not only house the entire process, but also to be easily carried with no extraneous pieces. The line, basket and supports fit neatly into the box while the box itself is made sturdily enough to support the weight of a full basket in motion. Everything is connected with magnets and finished to perfection. The name is a play on the motion of the basket when in use.
