A co-creation project in the framework of Design For Everyone (D4E1), designing tailored assistive technology for 'vzw Den Achtkanter'.
The designed 'Jar Closing Aid' is a DIY, reproducible, assistive tool designed for the workers of 'vzw den achtkanter', who had problems with closing the produced jars of eggnog.
The workers of the sheltered workshop had different disorders and complaints, but the main problem was pain in the hands by repeatedly closing the jars . The aid solves this problem and splits the task in sub-tasks, which makes the process easier for these stakeholders. Different jar-holders can be changed and washed.
