For my capstone project as an Industrial Design senior at Appalachian State University, I created an original, visually interesting lighting series, that drew inspiration from early influential design movements. My original work, named the Lightspeed Series, was publicly exhibited for critique and review at the King Street Art Collective. This series was a synthesis of historical Industrial Design movements, bound by an interlocking narrative, into a set of functional lighting elements with unique visual language.
