C.L.E.A.R. is an acronym for Coaster Litter Extraction and Retrieval, a project for cleaning up floating trash in and around the Manila Bay. This project utilizes cheap materials and the tidal power of the ocean waves to drive floating debris inside a collecting funnel that traps the trash inside a collection net underneath, which can be easily removed and thrown in garbage trucks and replace a new net quickly. No batteries needed but an option to add a solar powered LED strobe light to warn that automatically turns on at night. This trash collector doesn't require electricity or gas and works 24/7, rain or shine.
