I was asked to create a unique packaging design for a new crack filler. The powder product has to be kept in a breathable container, this limited the materials choices and none the usual enclosures were feasible.
The product had to be packed in paper, the same as every other crack filler, or it would solidify while on shelf. We wanted to solve the problem of existing crack filler packs that tear open, create waste, are difficult to use and require additional tools to fill a simple crack. We also wanted to ensure our client had a unique benefit to offer consumers.
We came up with the idea to make the multi tool which eliminates need for additional tools like scrapers and sand paper, and the multitool can be used to seal the bag for storage.
