The Community Bench, a Core 77 award winning project, was a collaborative effort between Industrial Design Outreach (iDO) mentors and Thurgood Marshall High School students. All panels were hand crafted by the high school students under the guidance of iDO mentors. This final bench was exhibited at the "Young @ Art" show in San Francisco's DeYoung Museum in May 2008 and now resides in the Mayor's "war room" in San Francisco's City Hall.
