Chapel Restoration: Cornerstone at St Davids, Charles Street, Cardiff
A Grade II listed building built in 1855. Awarded a Heritage Lottery Fund Grant to restore and revive the former Chapel into a Community Hub.
Transform the existing former Ebenezer Chapel into a new community facility with heritage learning to include social spaces, function space,conference facilities and space for community groups including an international student venue.
The project’s partner organisation is RNIB for the blind.
Reflecting the building’s past within its new surroundings, the refurbishment of the chapel is intended to preserve Welsh heritage and adapt its beautiful architecture sensitively for this new phase in its life and history.
