Wayfinding

Apple has proposed a new building design for its’ second headquarters to be located in Cupertino, California. This new campus, branded as Apple Campus 2, was approved by city officials and will sit on a 176-acre piece of land at the northeast corner of town. Features include a 2.8-million-square-foot spaceship design planted in the middle of a lush man-made forest, a 2,000-space parking garage, and solar powered energy.

To complement Apple’s proposed architectural project, we have developed a comprehensive wayfinding program which includes an overall master plan for vehicular and pedestrian signage, and detailed drawings of 6 different sign types with scale references. We have also introduced a photo-realistic 3D rendering for contextual understanding.
