The Transportation Exhibit. Three drive stations operate animated buses, subway trains, and pedestrians with bicycles.
The Endless Traffic Jam. Red vehicles represent a 10 percent average number of high efficiency hybrid or electric cars. The traffic jam ring is rotated by pushing or pulling the yellow hand rail.

The Water Exhibit with toilet flush tubes (upper right), animated tipper tube (upper left), 290 gallon center tank, and comparative shower head table (lower left). Manually operated water pumps lift water up to over head elements. Visitors pull a very large rope to explosively drain the center tank to a 35 foot high water jet geyser.
The Tipper Tube. Visitors pump water up to the 50 gallon tipper tube then watch it tip out its contents into the center tank below.

An early concept for the water exhibit area that featured a ground level basin which represents the daily water use by one family. Each satellite activity area represents different types of water use in the home.
Final schematic sketch for the transportation exhibit.
Concept for a trash to energy interactive exhibit. Visitors use leverage to lift one ton ball of trash at the same time as energize a generator to light a bulb.
