Saints to Sinners - An illustration proposal for a 2006 Harley-Davidson Owner's Group Rally.

Flower Maiden - I had the idea for this piece based on a story I was reading at the time. The color scheme and the imagery all seemed to come together intuitively.

Iconoclast - An editorial illustration I made to accompany a recent journal entry.

Flight - An editorial illustration I did when working with Native American iconography.

Take Off - Bitmap to Vector Conversion - I was contracted to convert a frame from an animated special to a vector illustration. The top is the vectorized version, below is the original sample.

Elf - Bitmap to Vector Art Conversion - I was asked to vectorize the central character, removing them from the background, as convincingly as possible. I used a number of gradient meshes in Illustrator CS2 to pull this off. A very time consuming project.

Toolshop - Bitmap to Vector Art Conversion - I was asked to vectorize the character in this scene. The sources was a screen grab take from a stop-frame animation special. The vector version is above, the source image below. I did the conversion using Illustrator CS2.

Glock 23 - Vector Drawing of a particular firearm that I did as a component of a larger logo/shield for the Seattle Police Department. The client wanted scalable artwork, so with a handful of gradient meshes, this is entirely a vector drawing. Done in Illustrator CS2 over the course of a day or so.

Tae Kwon Do Poster Illustration - This illustration was a montage I created for a promotional poster for a local event. The image was used on an 11x17" full-color poster, which can be seen in the Print Designs section of my portfolio.

WEKAF Flyer Illustration - This image was designed for the 2007 Midwest Regionals, an event coming later this year. This was to include a black and white version for the flyer, a color version for the t-shirts (direct transfer print), and a vectorized version for the awards medals. Included is the original marker sketch for this illustration. The sketch was scanned, vectorized in Illustrator CS2, then painted in Corel Painter X. The flyer was later typeset in Illustrator.
