This illustration was a centerpiece for the World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation in preparation for the 2006 World Championships, recently held in Orlando, FL. This design served as a promotional poster and the front cover for the event program, and is now available on t-shirts and other apparel.

MCMAA Promotional Poster - An A4-sized promotional poster for a UK based Martial Arts studio.
House Arrest - Play Poster - A friend of mine who teaches theater at a local highschool asked me if I could design a poster for a play that he was producing by Anna Deavere Smith. The concepts it dealt with were rich with imagery so this was a no-brainer.
The poster was done entirely in Illustrator CS2.
Regan Martial Arts Certificate of Rank - My client in Long Island asked me to design certificate of rank for his studio. In addition to this letter-sized certificate, there was a larger, tabloid sized Instructor Certificate, which was slightly more ornate.
My process involves working in Illustrator and Photoshop, then outputting a TIF file of the background elements, with a Word template for the text that is specific to each student. Though this is a time consuming method, it allows the client to print on demand.

Regan Martial Arts Instructor Certificate - This certificate was designed in addition to a student certificate of rank. The format is 11x17, and included a print-ready TIF file, as well as a Word Template which would allow the client to print on demand, editing the text that is specific to each candidate.

Logo Revision: WEKAF USA - The original logo (top) needed some work, it was rather old and tired looking for the campaign we were starting. I decided to revise the logo (bottom) and make it part of the branding for the national campaign. The World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation is an international organization that sponsors and organizes competitions all over the world. This logo was a part of the 2006 World Championships Campaign, which started in late 2004, culminating in July of 2006.
