Bokeh Lamp // Kinetic Lighting

"Light always follows the path of the beautiful" - Unknown

Express certain qualities of this quote through the form of the fixture as well as the effect of the light.

The word "Bokeh" is a term used to describe the manner in which a camera renders in and out-of-focus light. In photography, Bokeh is typically rendered as polygonal dots of color, which is a result of the shape of the aperture and of the lens.

The effect of the light is intended to mimic the hypnotic quality of a flickering flame, or rippling water. I want the user to interact with the light during times when they feel the need to tune out the world and lose themselves in thought.
