Composting Bin Concept - In my first year at university, I was given the brief to solve a problem area within the food preperation and eating area of the home. This lead me to focus on the waste of foodstuffs in the home. Alot of the time at the end of a meal upto 30% of the food goes straight into the bin. Obviously there is no solution to the problem of food wastage, however, there is the option to recycle the waste through the process of composting.
Marker Rendering - The original piece is A3 in size, started with a sketch used as an underlay, wax based leads used to create an outline over the top. Then I used alcohol based markers to fill the areas with colour and shade. The drawing was then outlined with a black fineline and cut out. The cutout was mounted on the grey gradient and the Dyson logo was drawn up in photoshop.
Designing for Charitiy - In 2004 I joined a charitable organisation through my univerisity. During the first few months it became clear they had no one experienced in design. So with the skills to help I became the designer for the organisation. Shown is a selection of print work I have done in Adobe Photoshop. Ranging from small A5 sized flyers, magazine covers and also larger 4m x 3m banner design.
Lego Formula One Car - This car was generated from a rendered SolidWorks assembly made up from over 70 individually modelled peices. It uses a fully reflective environment, material maps and decals.
Bio Bin - Final Concept Board - This was the final presentation board used at an exibition to show off the final concept generated as part of a group project. I modelled the product in 3D Studio Max 7, then I modelled over 700 blades of grass to sit the product on.
