Nit Chair
The concept for the Nit chair revolved around a play on human perception through scale, hidden structure, an unexpected application of knitting, as well as bringing a traditional technique into the contemporary furniture world.

The base of the chair is constructed of wood. The legs were hand lathed to a dull point to be reminiscent of knitting needles. The body of the chair was knit with love from an extruded polyethylene foam, and coated with rayon fibres that are known as flocking.
