Movers and Shakers Project
For this project we were tasked with designing a kitchenware product that could both move and shake. It could not be electronic in any way.
I found this task especially difficult. there is not much room for worth while improvement in the kitchenware industry, especially when you've been limited to a product without electronics.
I decided to look into members of the public that had some form of disability with their hands/arms as this was an area in the kitchenware market that had not been looked at extensively.
I designed a product that would allow people with disabilities such as arthritis, muscle weakness and hand/arm loss to be able to handle hotplates and bowls easier.
