Gulf Coast Law Firm - Reception & Lobby - The use of naturally occurring colors and textures in the finishes is a direction to imply longevity. Earthy browns and grays in the slate flooring, weathered blues, golds and greens in wall coverings and fabrics, and rich cherry and bronze tones are juxtaposed against polished, sleek lighting fixtures and simple, clean-lined furniture. Gulf Coast Law Firm - 2nd Floor Lobby - The drama of the 2nd Floor Lobby is accentuated with direct/indirect light reflecting a barrel vaulted ceiling and an original exposed truss that implies a sense of natural daylight. Detailed molding eases the transition from one space to the next and allows for an easy introduction of works of art. Mixed media art is by the architect, Durand Seay. Photo: Eugenia Uhl Photography
Gulf Coast Law Firm Conference - The barrel vaulted ceiling of the 2nd Floor Lobby is repeated in the Large Conference Room. A high-gloss finish accentuates the custom-designed table of moabi pomele, makore and mahogany woods. The lightly-scaled black leather high-back conference chairs provide ample comfort without overpowering the space. Translucent glazed doors impart a sense of soft light and openess, while maintaining visual and acoustic privacy. Photo: Eugenia Uhl Photography.
Gulf Coast Law Firm - Lobby Stairwell - The drama of the 2nd Floor lobby is accentuated with indirect light reflecting a barrel vaulted ceiling and an original exposed truss that implies a sense of natural daylight. The light is able to penetrate the open stairwell through perforated metal railing spilling down into an area with no windows. Mixed media art is by the architect, Durand Seay.
