The Best Gift Ever, 2014
I chose these photos because they define me. Not only am I a runner, but I live off of running water to nourish me and keep me going and for that I am so grateful. Just living in a country with the opportunity to have running shoes and running water as well as a shared car is a privilege. And, of course, my kitty always keeps me company in times of need.

Gratitude Essay
As I photographer, I documented things in my life I have taken for granted, now now realize how grateful I am. It's easy to overlook the little things that make our days so much simpler. I tried to capture images that describe me, but realized these were the things I was grateful for most--my ability to have access and benefit from these. These simple images capture the best of things accessible to those who take advantage of their abilities and opportunity. I am so thankful for these.
