HDR stands for High Dynamic Range imaging and uses multiple photographs of different exposures to generate a photo with greater dynamic range of luminosity. It adds detail and makes a photo "pop." Raw images are photos that contain minimally processed data firectly from the image sensor or lens; it is not directly usable as an image yet until it has been converted.
