These surreal self portraits are a depiction of my abnormalities that may not be apparent to someone who just met me. The idea of altering limbs and placing body parts where they do not belong appeals to me because it's almost as if I feel misplaced, just as the eyes on my face or the hands on my legs. Sometimes I can feel like a different person, hence the extra arms coming out of my shoulders. These surreal self portraits are a way to express my abnormalities.
