Huolong Heater

In the past, there were no heating installations in Taiwanese houses that
warmed a whole room. One placed a Huolong, a heater waved by bamboo,
filled with ash and charcoal in front of one’s knees to warm cold hands. It
had a round and gentle shape with warm to it. People can hold Huolong in
arm or between legs to keep warm in winter.
Inspired by ancient way to keep warm, I design a portable heater that makes users feel
free to put the heater everywhere. As long as the heater is fully charge, we can either
put it nearby our foot or hug it in our arms. After using heater for a while, people can
put it back to charge again, making this appliance more portable and convenient.
