In order to solve the problem of lacking places in student dorms in Nis, the project was to be elaborated for the housing
of 400 students at the site of Technical faculties’ campus. The aim was to adequately integrate the dorm structure
into the existing civil housing surrounding and faculty neighborhood and therefore achieve development of the whole
area in the future.
The new dorm consists of different commercial, cultural, medical and other contents which are lacking in the area
and therefore enables students and residents of the housing complex nearby better social life and integration. The
materialisation of the facade is conceived through the use of woodden panels in two different warm colours that
change through the facade planes .
The design was a diploma project at the University in 2006.
