Poise Chair
Beginning with the premise that posture and emotions are linked, I set out to create a chair that would encourage users to feel confident when seated, both physiologically and through their outward appearance.
The posture is a result of research linking emotional feelings with how one holds their body, particularly in seated positions. The simple profile and spare lines inspire both trajectory and humility.
